Problem With HBI Theta Trigger in P10C. Has Anyone Seen This? Help
« on: September 13, 2023, 01:25:34 PM »
After installing the Theta trigger in my new Czech made P10C, racking the slide does not move the trigger forward to the ready-to-fire position.  I've been trying to get in touch with HBI for 2 days via email & phone, with no response, so I'm seeking advice here.  I know what's happening, but have no idea how to fix it.  Allow me to explain in non-technical terms.

It appears that the upright tab at the rear of the trigger bar is sitting too low for the tab on the striker to engage it when normally racking the slide.  However, if I nudge the trigger forward slightly with the slide back & then release the slide, the trigger moves fully forward.

With the slide removed, I can see the trigger bar tab raise up when nudging the trigger forward slightly, which tells me that is the proper height required for the striker to engage it.  After pulling the trigger, the trigger bar drops too low.  I'm pretty sure this is the cause, but have no clue as how to fix it.  Can anyone here please shed some light on this?  BTW...I've never removed, or changed anything on the slide, such as replacing the striker spring.
