Early 75B Omega question...
« on: October 12, 2018, 12:09:39 PM »
A friend has one of these, the trigger isn't nearly as good as my P07 Duty.  He's also under the impression that it's not convertible like the later models, is that correct?  He bought it new, but I don't think he shoots it much, so the round count probably isn't very high, maybe it just hasn't smoothed out yet?  He's also not a tinkerer, so it's probably never been detail stripped, never mind polished or parts upgrades.

So, is it convertible, safety or decocker?  And if not, can it be made convertible?
And other than more shooting, or possibly strip and polish, is there anything different that needs to be done to improve the trigger?  Thanks.

Dave

I do not think the early CZ 75B Omega was convertible.  If it was CZ would have mentioned it and even provide the parts to change it to a decocker.

Here is its description from CZ USA.

No the early model is not convertible nor could it be made so as the right side of the frame is not machined to accept the ambi safety and decocker used on the convertible models.
