Just got this in mail yesterday. Haven’t seen anything on this yet so here goes.
Strike industries magwell for p10F.
Pros:
Inexpensive, @$25
No fitting needed, No scarring upon removal
Secured with included screw,Screw has pre-applied blue loctite
Pack includes Allen key
Works with small & med back straps
Best part, works with EOM/stock base pads!!!
Cons:
Plastic construction
About 1mm too wide for IDPA 1 5/8 inch CO/ESP box limit
Have to change the way I reload pistol (used to using more of 45 degree push with heel of palm as I start to bring support hand up to build grip. This requires more of a flat press across bottom to seat mags)
Personal perspective:
My problem with all other P10F magwell is need for non OEM base pads; I have 20 something F mags.
Better than anticipated fit
Tiniest movement when tightened down, may be just plastic flexing
Creates decent well for reloading
Longer & wider in back than front
Plan to sand down to fit box for IDPA
Rear of magwell offers good space & angle
Should keep you from chewing up frame
Will buy a couple more for other p10’s to experiment
