"New" P10c Mag Compatibility?
« on: October 23, 2018, 11:36:02 AM »
Although I'm not overly intrested in the new non-ambi mag release models, my wife is looking for a new edc and may be interested in the P10S.  When the P10c first came about it was said the the mags would work in the P07 but P07 mags would not work in the P10 c - due to the cut(or lack of) in mag for ambi mag release.  Back then it was said that CZ would start making all P10's and P07 mags with ambi cuts so they woul work in either example.  Now that the new entire line of P10 (tragically imo) will not have ambi mag release, will the "new" mags be compatible be between mine (ambi) and the new P10S?

My understanding is the P-07 mags going forward will have the cut for the P-10c. I also am under the impression that the mags for the US MADE guns will be no different. The difference will be the mag release itself will be reversible as opposed to ambidextrous. However, the magazine cuts will be the same.

CZ had commented.....somewhere... on social media, (sorry I can't find the post right now) stating that they are compatible.

To the best of my knowledge the P-10 mags should fit the other P series, ie, P-10C with P-07 and probably P-10F with P-09. Unfortunately, they did NOT take me up on my "fun sized" subcompact P-05 Banshee so it could cross compatible mags with the P-10S. ;)

With P10S mags available and fitting the P07/P09 style mag release, it will be only a short matter of time before someone cuts the grip on a P07 down for a more concealable P07 that uses P10S mags

On another post about the new P-10F and P-10S, you can see the front of the magazines several seconds into the video.  About 25 seconds in, you can see the ambi cut on the "full" size magazines.  So hopefully these will continue.

I?m sure the mags have and will continue to have ambi cuts due to the fact that the new mag release is reversible.

It would be a perfect companion to the CZ 2097 uberRAMI .45 ACP.
