new bren owner

I have had my bren for a few months.  there are a couple of things that I would not mind changing.  one right now is the safety lever.  I don't have big ole man hands by any means but its hard to switch the safety from on to off when the operating the pistol.  does someone make extended ones.

also from what I have researched, I have found that the rate of twist is 1 in 7.  and from what I read after that it would support a heavier bullet like 62 ish grains.  granted they will all still fly out the end of the barrel and a bren pistol would not be used for much long range stuff, however I am one of those guys that likes to have the most accurate stuff I can.

Welcome and congratulations on Bren.

I believe Manticore Arms makes an after market safety lever.

Congrats on getting a Bren!

CZ also makes a replacement/upgrade safety lever:

Welcome to the addiction! The safety is addressed above but I can say my BREN 805 will shoot anything well from 40 grains to 75 grains without difficulty.
