527 Bolt to Scope Clearance Problem Solved
« on: November 25, 2018, 06:10:16 PM »
I bought my 527 Lux in .22 Hornet a couple of months ago, used. So it didn't come with the factory rings. I wound up buying a set of Warne medium height rings and then had a problem with the bolt barely touching the ocular eyepiece of my Bushnell Trophy scope.
I had read on this forum about the bolt handle on these rifles being changed at some point, so I contacted the CZ-USA parts store and was told the bolt change was made after 2015. My gun is a 2009 model, so I ordered a new style bolt handle (part # 40110) and just got it swapped out.
Since these rings seem to be the correct height for me, when shouldering the rifle and looking through the scope, I did not want to go to higher rings. The new bolt handle option turned out to be an ideal solution for me. It is easy to change and, at $45, was less than another set of rings.

God Bless,
Scott
