Reccomend Supressor Ammo for EVO
« on: December 04, 2018, 08:42:11 PM »
Looking for recommendations on what you all have gotten your best results from.  Looking for commercial off the shelf stuff for both the range and home defense.  Does NOT need to fit both categories.  Obviously I prefer cheaper for the range, but self defense quality ammo for the house.

***I should probably add that the Suppressor is an Omega 9K that is still pending with the ATF since June, so hopefully I get that before Feb***

If it has to be commercial HUSH ammo is supposed to be pretty good. For HD would suggest federal HST

I want my defense ammo to be hot.  I shoot 147gr.  The hush is quiet yes but not as fast making it that way.  I have found the magtech 147 jhp to be completely reliable and just under supersonic velocity.  It is also found for a out the same price as fiochi 158.

I use 147 grain Speer Lawman for the range  when shooting suppressed. It's off the shelf for 20? a round and never had an issue. It's seems the evo  shoots better with the heavier <115 ammo also.
