Finally bit the bullet and bought my first 82

Have all the other 9x18 flavors, but for some reason never picked up a CZ (have many other CZs in 9mm, .32 etc.).

It's one of the chipped-grip tribe, so waiting to see how much of the original coating is left.  :D

P-07 still my favorite shooter, though.

CZ makes a lot of great firearms, the CZ 82 comes with the additional benefit of Cold War history.  I love mine.

My chipped grip special was in fine mechanical shape, but the paint was a mess.  I stripped it and used Birchwood Casey Super Blue to refinish.  I’ve got a thread on here from this summer about how I did it.

I saw that thread, nice looking! I'm sure they'll need some attention and a DIY might just work!
