Use heat (easy to try) propane your house on low using common sense.
If loctite is on there heat will release it. I tape the sight and a steel or brass punch this size and wack it with a big hammer squarely.

Does the Wheeler tool work well on the angled slides like the Shadow 2? I had problems with regular generic sight pushers on those...

Yes, works fine. Did my Shadow 2 last week.

Great, thank you for confirming. My old generic sight pusher is ready for permanent retirement... This one seems like a great option for a replacement.
