Did I miss something about guide rods falling out?

I was told on Arf that there were several reports of P-10C guide rods falling out, but I don't recall seeing any threads on that - anyone enlighten me on where I missed it? Full disclosure - mine are RIGHT where they started.

Never heard that on a CZ.  However, when my dept switched from Berettas to Sigs, the armorers course told us that some Sigs had been shipped with plastic guide rods and some of the flanged ends were reported to have broken off resulting in an odd looking situation.  I think I still have a plastic rod in my D PCR, but it's about the only one.  I can see where it COULD happen, but I haven't seen it yet.

I saw that post and didn't bother to comment.  I don't think the OP clearly stated what the issue was.  I don't see how with the pistol together and shooting it at the range, the guide rod can fall out of the weapon.  If the end unscrews you would just have a non captured guide rod.  How could the rod fall out as he stated.  David

Maybe they are taking about the end screw. Which it came loose on one of my five p10c

It was only about halfway and I screwed it back in and no issues after that
