Help on valuing CZ 85

I have a chance to purchase a CZ 85 which was manufactured in around '87 or '88 as I recall based on the date stamp.  Looks to be in decent condition, no importer marks I saw, with two magazines electro stenciled with the guns SN.  Blued slide, looks like a coated (earlier version of the current poly cote?) on the frame, with a few notable scratches on the frame through the finish.  I would estimate the condition at 80-85%, a decent example.  Certainly not like new, showing some wear, but not like some of the military/police ones which show up with lots of wear on the finish and grips.  Rounded trigger guard, fixed sights.  No box or anything else with it.

What would be a reasonable price for me as the purchaser?  Thanks in advance for any informed input.

Thanks.  The seller ( a pawn shop) had it at $500 for 3+ months.  I offered $300 for it a month or two ago and they refused.  Picked it up yesterday.  They ultimately agreed to $375, but also took part trade for an old shotgun that I didn't use, and I thought their trade offer was fair.

Took it apart, and it doesn't look like it has been fired much.  The slide bluing has some wear on the sharp edges and a couple minor scratches.  Frame is scratched up, with finish broken to exposed metal in spots.  Towards the muzzle end of the bore, there is evidence of a little moisture at some point in the barrel.  With a cleaning and some JB Bore Bright, it cleaned up pretty good.  Hoping it is a good shooter.

I am going to do some searching on what it would take to refinish the frame and consider whether or not it would be worth the time and / or $ investment to have it done.  If I go forward with refinishing, my initial thought is to keep the frame re-finish as close to original as possible, but doing a total re-finish (frame and slide) in blue would be sharp.  Given the remaining slide blue, I think this]would be overkill and just coating the frame would be best, or just leave it alone, as-is original.  Any suggestions?

CGW has a Cerakote process. Price is reasonable. Gun would be correctly reassembled. That would be my first choice. Matte black, gray, or OD.

This looks like the enamel finish that CZ-UB used before developing the polycoat.  You'll want to refinish it at some point, so superficial damage like that is almost a plus, if it drove the price down.

Finally had a chance to get out to the range with it last weekend.  It was a pretty cold day, and I was trying to get some initial time in with a couple other new guns also, so I only had time to put about 40 rounds through it.  Shooting at 25 yards, It went well, although the front sight isn?t as friendly on the eyes as most of my other handguns are.  Still reasonable group for the first time out, and it ran smooth with no issues.  The trigger is definitely nicer than the newer stock 75s that I have.  Looking forward to another trip to the range with it.
