SP-01 Tactical for warranty work
« on: January 07, 2019, 07:39:19 PM »
Sent my SP-01 Tactical for warranty work in beginning of December 2018, received no update email for last two weeks.
Is the company on holiday vacation? The gun is needed soon for a reviewed project. Any ideal to get the it back soon?

Thanks a lot!

Also the issue is strange, the gun will not fire in SA if the trigger was pulled very slowly.

Weird issue indeed. I would just say call them and let them know the urgency. I had a P07 with them last month for warranty and it was about a 2 week turnaround. I would bet they did have a Christmas & New Years holiday break.

They're running behind from the holidays.

Thanks @Claymore504 and @Raining_Brass.
Finally I was able to talk with a gentleman. He did mentioned the holidays but did not explain why there was no weekly update anymore. He also asked how soon I will need the pistol, and I mentioned 1 week will be great. I am not sure what is going to happen.
Will update.

Here is the photo that may reveal the malfunction. But I am not sure.
Please advice if you have experience with this pistol.

So far seems OK.

Ugly Service on Beautiful Gun
Felt really bad since the gun is brand new and already repaired twice
At least had a good story for my blog now

Glad it finally was taken care of.

Roam,

That wasn't your problem.   The decocker model only has the right side hammer hook.   The left hook is removed to clear the decocker lever.

I'd like to hear more about your issue you encountered.   You stated if you squeeze the trigger slowly it wouldn't fall?   How about if you pulled it fast?   What about in dual action?

Cheers,
Toby

So, you sent it in the first time and got it back not repaired and had to send it back in?

I had this exact thing happen with my brand new P07. Got it home the day I picked it up and noticed the front night sight was dead. I contacted CZ the next day and they brought it in for me. I got it back in 2 weeks (like I stated above). Took it out of the box and invoice said replaced front sight. Well, front sight was still completely dead. I contacted customer service as well as the LE/MIL rep since I got it through that program. The CZ customer service rep said that it was hard to believe and it must have got damaged in shipping back to me. I find that hard to believe since I shipped it in the factory box.

So, CZ brought it back in and the CZ customer service rep said he would check it himself when they sent it back. They did get it back to me that second time in a week by overnighting it.

Well, now I just got a P01 Omega UGSR through the LE/MIL program as well and........the front night sight is dead. So, here we go again! :o

What was done to the pistol to correct the problem?
