Breaking in the pro kit
« on: February 18, 2019, 09:23:15 AM »
Something I want to share and this will help a lot of you who buy the pro kits for their p07/09. Polishing everything and installing the pro kit does not mean the trigger will be smooth, polishing only speeds up the break in process. Stacking is still likely after everything was done like in my case. Don't worry about that just shoot the pistol because 2-3k rounds later you will have the smoothest pull ever. I see posts where people complain because the do not understand this.

My pro kit as installed and polished by cgw rocked from the git.  A slight adjustment of the over travel screw was required relatively early in shooting it, but I hardly think it needs over 2000 rounds to realize "perfection".  Sure more shoooting may help with fine polishing, just not needed as much as I read into your post.
