Trigger pull on new compact ?
« on: February 15, 2019, 06:11:55 AM »
Anybody know what the approximate poundage is for DA/SA on a factory 75 compact (91190) ?? Trying to justify getting the defensive package from Cajun gun works but if its only a slight difference in pull weight i might have to re think my wants......

I have several CZ75 Compacts and a couple P01 Omegas.

Trigger pull will vary.  Not just the force/lbs. required to release the hammer but also the way the trigger feels as it moves to the rear.

I have some that are fine from the factory and a couple I've improved through CGW/CZ USA parts.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

It?s about 12/4 for DA/SA.

It?s easy to install these for $17:

You just need a punch kit to do it.

I did this for 3 of my CZ pistols.  You don?t need all that other stuff.

Hiya romex2121and thx for your thread, being 6 am glad I found something productive to do.
FYI the search function here works much like a google search and the google search will often find old threads buried weeks, months back in this very forum. Just saying. My guess is the factory gun is a 8 pound pull of the D/A and 5 for S/A. And didn't quite notice what wants you wanted in the first place related to the answer. i.e.. wanting lighter or heavier than factory settings. Range, competition,or HD/EDC use. Cheers .be well.

Mine was 10 pounds double and about 5 in single, I love 1911 pistols so I converted to sao. My single action after a new race hammer is 2.5 .
Definantly lighten the pull cgw is awsome

yeah would feel a little on the heavy side for most SIX year olds...  give it a couple more years, young man and I'm sure your hands will grow stronger.  On the plus side, you sound more mature than most 25 year olds!

This has been my experience, as little as it is.

My P01 came from the factory with a SA of 4 7/8 lbs. and DA was about 9 1/2 lbs.
I'm not going with a full blown package from Cajun Gun Works, but I do have some parts coming.  :) :D ;D
