Cz52 hammer won?t reset after slide is cycled

Hey guys, was out shooting my cz52 using mil srp ammo, and the hammer wouldn?t stay cocked after it was fired. If I manually cock it with my thumb it will work, but the slide will not cock it.

Questions...

For clarity, you fired a round and the slide picked up a round and returned to battery. At this point the hammer was in the forward position?

If you manually rack the slide back does the hammer stay cocked?

If no when does the hammer come forward??

Yes. The hammer comes forward with the slide. Shooting it or manually cycling it. It will only stay back if I use my thumb to cock it.

My first thought would be a problem with the sear spring. Either broken or not enough tension.

Watching this thread with interest as I have one that is doing the same thing.  In my case, if I manually rack the slide, it works, but not when I fire a live round.

Well I toot it completely apart. I?m doing a trigger job as well. I found the sear spring wasn?t even attached. I?ll let you know in a couple days when I take it to the range if that fixed it.
