Hey guys,

So I did something stupid. New member here.

Like an idiot, I left a snap cap in the chamber, and then after I field stripped and forgot to put the recoil spring back in. Put the slide on without it and now the slide wouldn't come off. I'm not familiar with pistol disassembly beyond a field-strip and back strap swap. How do I get this slide off and the pistol functioning correctly again? I added some pictures in the links below. Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

EDIT: Got it figured out, removed the striker pin assembly, depressed field strip lever, and slide came off. I think i'm good from here, mods feel free to delete this post.

Don't sweat it we all make mistakes. You figured what you did wrong and made it right.  That's all that matters.
