Shortest DA reach trigger ( 85C new vs old style)

I've scoured dozens of threads, but can not find the definitive answer.

Of all the available triggers, which trigger provides the shortest DA reach without changing any other internals.

I'm cursed with small hands and fat fingers so my SP01 and SP01 shadow both rock thin Lok bogies. The SP01 has a new style 85c Trigger  which I believe to be the same as on the Shadow.

I'm wanting to replace the black recurve on my 99041 PO1 but I'm waffling between the 85C new style and the old style offered by both CGW and CZC . From what I can gather the "Old Style" has a straighter trigger but I cant seem to find out which sits further back when the hammer is down.

I?m probably wrong, but I believe the stock recurve provides the shortest reach. The 85c and ?old?style  85c help with the trigger bite that some have.

I have the same problem with my strong hand finger reach. My "stock recurve" 75b trigger had a longer reach than the old style 85:trigger.  My Custom black 75 Shadow came with the old style 85 trigger.
  Just a consideration:  schmecky/CGW offers a short reach trigger mod. that included an old style 85 trigger that has been sanded thinner on the front side shortening the reach.  This can be done DIY with a Dremel and the larger sanding drums.  This wouldn't cost anything if you have access to a Dremel and the sanding drums. Just go slow and it's an easy fast project.
Mine helped noticeably.

The black recurve and PCR trigger have the shortest reach so you already have the right trigger.

Your best bet is you get a Reach reduction kit from CGW.

Whoops, looks like I didn't give enough info. Looking to get rid of the recurve trigger as it pinches the crap out of my finger over the course of my typical practice sessions  ( 3-400 rounds weekly between the 3 cz's. )

I also have short fingers and it made all the difference for me.

Saw something the other night about a "Pre B " trigger being short reset all by itself

Correct me if i'm wrong but the Pre 75B short reset only shortens the SA and the DA will remain a long initial pull.

Thought I would combine and answer both these at the same time.

The 75 pre b trigger is thick and will move your trigger reach further away but is a comfy trigger with less curve. The pre b "short reset" comes from the disconnector used and yes only makes the SA shorter.
