10 round mags TSO 40 failure to feed
« on: May 12, 2019, 11:38:13 AM »
Just purchased 5 of the CZ 10 round mags for the TSO in SW40.

Took them to match and found they failed to feed consistently - using commercial rounds that run fine in my standard CZ mags in the plastic based 10 round mags the rounds consistently failed to feed - the rounds got hung up at an angle inside the chamber, as tho the magazine follower pushed them up at too high an angle for the slide to properly feed them into the chamber.

Any one else experience that? Any solution other than sending them back to CZ?

Hiya misaltantic44 and thx for the thread. If I recall thats 60-70 bucks a pop per mag,not inexpensive. I have no experience with the 10rd TSO mag, In our country I have used the regular or 26rd mag with flawless consistency. I would think a call to cz-usa so they can email you the free shipping back, once I was assure by a smith or other representative I would not be shipping those back. Be well.

have you tried taking them apart? Occasionally, mags will get burrs from where the witness holes are punched. Some mags are even pre-loaded with slimy gobs of protective grease.

(I only have 2 of the 10 round .40 mags which are 15+ years old. They needed a good cleaning when I bought them used with a TacSport and a Standard IPSC)
