I'd question the fact that only 80 were imported. I've personally seen 5 of these "in the wild" and even passed one up locally. A modified and fired sample doesn't lend itself to a collector. If the person get's the money, then good for them.

Just because it has blue grips, doesn?t mean it one of these.  Almost everyone of the full nitride models came in the first shipment of Shadow 2?s to the US and you had to be on a pre-paid waiting list to get one.  Since this model had been discontinued, you can get blue grip model shadow 2?s but they are not full nitride models.  So basically the only place in the United States you could have seen 5 of these would have been at CZ Custom.

Understood. I've been owning and shooting CZs for a while. I saw them at USPSA matches when the Shadow 2 first came out, for full disclosure I didn't ask the serial number or if legit Nitride only. The one locally had the correct serial number on the box.
So you have proof that only 80 came into the US?
