I've had more experience than I really wanted zeroing various CZ pistols with red dots over the last few weeks.  This weekend I received my CZ Custom PT4 adaptor for the OR P-10F and installed it and the sight in place of the adapted Springer Precision Shadow dovetail mount.  Works and fits perfectly.  So I put the sight I bought for this gun back on it, put the original Burris from the P-09 back on the P-09, and zeroed both guns at noon today.  Everything went perfectly except for me flinching a couple of shots, which I ignored for zero purposes.

Since the P-09 and P-10F shoot equally well, I did not include the P-09 zero in the video below, limiting myself to the P-10F with the new OR plate.  Video will finish uploading by around 9:15 CDT, I hope.

I did not use a rest or a two handed grip.  You might find that unusual, but the fact is that, for me, the zero shifts some between single hand, two hand, and wrist rest, so, if I zero the gun perfectly from a rest, I have to fine tune it for bullseye single hand anyway, so I just skip the rest for a bullseye gun.  I am a pretty consistent single hand shooter so this isn't a big handicap.

So, take a look at the video and let me know what you think.  I think I can zero one of my own guns pretty well with 20 rounds, 10 of cheap ammo at 7-10 and at 25 yards, followed by 10 rounds of match ammo to fine tune.  I think.

The P-09 and P-10F are excellent and very easy to zero since they are so tight mechanically, as demonstrated last weekend with the P-10F and many times over the years with the P-09.

Joe - Love your vids and input on this site.

I have a Cajunized P-09 (that I love) and my new P-10 F (non-OR) gets here tomorrow.

My *plan* is to have a 'hammer vs. striker death match' and keep the winner. I have a newborn at home so I'm trying to be reasonable about spending dough haha..

Though I'll probably end up being indecisive and keeping both, I wanted to know what you think of them.

Aside from the obvious differences, whaddya think? If you had to pick one, which would it be and why?

My intended use for the winner is as a HD and range pistol. Basically a "do-it-all" 9mm. Carry duty belongs to my G42.

I think the only way to make the decision is to shoot them both side by side for a while and then choose.  A Cajunized P-09 is going to be hard to beat with a stock P-10F.  Put a 4 lb Glock striker spring in your new P-10F and put a few rounds through it.  Since you have a Glock, the differences may narrow some for you.  I like them both, with the P-10F much closer to the P-09 than I ever expected.  No bad choice here.

That's kinda what I figured.

I already have the Cajun P-10 (Gen 2) trigger and Glock (Wolff) springs waiting for the F.

Fortunately, I live in N. Nevada so I'm going to head to the desert on Friday with my brothers to shoot the snot out of both pistols.

I have a feeling that I'm going to end up with both haha
