P-07/P-10C: 4 slot mag vs older orange follower mag

I know what I?ve read: the older two-slot, Orange follower magazines will not work in the newer (US-built) non-ambi magazine release pistols.

Has anyone ACTUALLY tried it???

I was in a store today and I did (older orange follower, 2 slot mag into a new non-ambi mag release pistol and... it appeared to work.

By work, I mean it locked in and the mag release DID release the magazine. [emoji848]

It left me scratching my head as it?s counter what I recall reading.

I believe that if it has the 2 slots on each side of the magazine, it is the newer type magazine and it will fit the USA made (and all newer) P10's

Yeah.

The non-ambi mag pistols - the US pistols are SUPPOSED  to not work with the Orange follower mags that came with the Czech P-10C pistols.

Magazine articles said this was not to be the case.

I must add that the magazines were placed into a P-07. I will try said magazine swap into a new P-10C today.

Sorry about the confusion - but... it APPEARS that the P-07 MAY be okay.

Will report back later this evening.
