Finally got to shoot the Kadet on Wednesday and the P-10C today at a very small local shooting range. Today was "remedial carry gun shooter practice" after several months of not shooting at all. I knew all I need to work on was trigger control and sighting, and just getting used to the pistol again. So I hung two bullseye targets up 3 feet apart at 15 yards and blasted away, alternating betweeen the targets, two handed standing, 10 shots at a time, in about 8 seconds. Was able to get all shots in the black, even shooting Rem UMC 115 gr FMJ ammo. Trigger finger was good, so, after 80 rounds, I moved out to single hand bullseye at 25 yards, timed fire. This was more challenging. Shot one 94 target, but averaged maybe 90 for 12 targets, 120 rounds. Still a good day and I conserved my "good" ammo.
No problems of any kind, other than I knocked my tall co-witness front sight out of the dovetail due to it being too tall for my kydex holster. This is an original P-10C with CGW trigger and internals, and a beveled-by-me back plate and Glock 4 lb striker spring and keepers, and a Burris FF3 red dot sight in a CGW cut slide. And lots of Sugru on the grip.
Maybe tomorrow I'll try my P-10F bullseye pistol.
This is fun.
