Hornady customer service - well done!
« on: May 02, 2019, 10:17:01 AM »
I have a LNL AP progressive.

I've loaded at least 30K rounds on it - all pistol.  I started to do the loading for 223.  Someone started to talk to me while I was sizing cases (distraction).  The handle was hard to move - so I forced it, thinking it was a case sticking in the resizing die. - no, it was jambed and I just broke one of the advancing paws on the press.

I replaced it with my spare and called Hornady to get 2 new ones and some other parts that have worn, figuring I'd pay for them since they are not defect due to manufacturing.  WOW - they sent them for free.  I even stated - " I broke it - my fault - not a design issue" and they said no problem.  Also sent an update to another part I was unaware of - free.  I'm impressed!

Makes me not feel so bad spending a lot of $$ on the Hornady 223 dies, pocket swager, shell plate, bushings, etc.

Just figured I'd let folks know that something was good - we always hear the bad.

If it goes "boom" or "vroom" I'm intersted.

Sounds like they have been taking inspiration from Dillon. Good deal.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The primer cam break-a-way assembly.  Just got it and haven't looked at what is different yet.

part numbers 7, 8, 18, 52, 53, and I think 19.

It is what moves the primer slide out to get another primer ready to insert.

Awesome! I have had the same type of over-and-beyond from RCBS, nice to see Hornaday did too. I called them once to say thank you for the extra bullet - they left a .243 bullet in my box of .223 SP, and I thought it was hilarious. They sent me a free hat for the giggle. Good people!
