**Last modified Feb 2023 - added link on bottom of page for early CZ pistols (1920-1940s) display.
Some of the grips seen through the years.
Boxes and containers through the years;
1. 197x - 1985? The earliest observed box dates from 1978. One might assume this box was used when the CZ 75 began production in June 1977.
2. 1986 - 1992?
3-4. 1991 - 2011? Some of these had a light blue-gray molded plastic interior. Action Arms encased the blue container in a medium-bright blue cardboard sleeve with their name on it. Otherwise, these cases used the speckled sleeves. These were also used for the CZ 83 until it was discontinued after 2012.
5. 2012 - present. The interior foam type has had one change.
Some of the magazines through the years. The follower was modified in 1997 allowing for an increase from 15 to 16 rounds (Pazdera “Legenda...CZ” book).
FYI - current production magazines will not fit in the mag wells of 1980s Pre-B pistols. However, the 18 rounds SP-01 and 10-rounds magazines will usually work in these older pistols.
