Thanks for the post. Have one in like new condition and that is exactly the price I asked for it. Buyer balked but I'd rather have a safe queen than let it go for less. Have that one of each thing going for 75's so most don't get shot a lot but the nickel and the glossy blue don't get shot at all.

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

They are beautiful and in my eyes nicer looking than the stainless currently offered.  However, unless you are a collector and 'need' that model, $750 is a stiff price for a used B.  I'd almost rather buy an old transitional and spend the money getting CCR to do a refinish in CP II and have a much more durable finish.

Definitely right about new finishes being more durable although the nickel is pretty durable. The one I still have is like new with no wear or blemishes of any kind however one of my first CZs was also nickel with a lot of holster use and showed less wear than my regular finish CZs.

All of that in mind I also agree one with that kind of pricing should stay a collectors safe queen unless you REALLY like the look enough to want to pay the price.

Yes, I remember people commenting that the Satin Nickle was more durable - good for you!
