New CZ p-01 owner experiencing FTF malfunctions

Hi, I'm new to this forum but a bit of a CZ fan (got my 4th last week) and finally found someone in my state stocking a brand new 2019 P-01. I got to take it to the range yesterday and was disappointed, in about 200-250 rounds I had 8-10 FTF malfunctions with 115 grain aluminum Blazer, 124gr Fiochi, 124 Magtech and some admittingly old mixed up ammo o had laying around.

I have never had so many malfunctions with any CZ except for firing Tulammo in my P10C which is asking for it anyway.

The malfunction itself it seems to load the majority of the actual projectile into the chamber but hangs up somehow on occasion, also notably at a considerable angle pointing up and is easily remedied by slightly racking the slide.

I figure I might go shoot again tomorrow and may just see if it is break in or lubricant issues but it still seems largely unusual compared to my experience with my other CZ firearms, including other 75 type models.

I've never shot any of those brands of ammo.  I have read on several forums that people have had issues with them.

Get some good S&B or Federal ammo (not aluminum cased) with some power and try them out.

Also, clean and lube the pistol before going to the range.  Actually, I clean and lube mine after ever trip to the range so it's ready to go if I need to use it between range trips.  A new out of the box gun needs to be field stripped, inspected and lubed when put back together.  The stuff the factory puts on them is supposed to be more for rust protection than lubrication.

I had the exact same issues as well as sloppy trigger that would fire with a delay in single action.
Sent it back.
Got a replacement from CZ that has had no issues.

The firearm was plenty lubed. I went again today and get some federal and old S&B and still experienced malfunctions. I even ran it very wet just to see if it would make a difference within a mag or two with little luck.

Are the FTF happening with different mags or just one mag?

I have a 2019 P01 Omega with about 300 rounds through it with no issues.  Fiocchi 115g FMJ is my primary range ammo.  Federal HST 124g +P is what I run when not at the range.  I've probably shot 3K rounds of Fiocchi 115g FMJ at the range using several different handguns.  I don't think its the ammo. I agree with Spitfire, I'd contact CZ.
