Pre-B Magazines, Capacity Restrictions
« on: June 05, 2019, 01:21:17 AM »
Hello, I recently purchased a pre-b CZ75, although it was advertised as "compatible with both A and B magazines" which led me to believe that, with my lazy research, that it was a B model. (woops)

Anyways, I found out that B mags won't fit, at least not the ones I purchased (just to check if it would work) https://www.brownells.com/aspx/search/productdetail.aspx?sid=46470&pid=71652

I was looking for some factory pre-B mags, but they seem to be only 16 rounds and my state is restricted to 15 rounds. I don't want to alter the gun itself. I was curious what options I have.

Thanks!

One solution is to have a 16 rd mag modified to 15 rd capacity.  Some have used pop rivets to limit the travel of the follower.  Mec-Gar uses two dimples in the side of their magazines to limit the number of rounds.

If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.
