Best way to make the CZ-75 safety more positive?
« on: May 10, 2019, 05:46:44 PM »
So is there a good way to improve the safety detent on the CZ-75 safety? Would you have to replace the detent spring, which is a small and tiny spring to find? One of the guys from Cajun Gunworks suggested drilling deeper holes for the safety lever to catch the detent(s). For those of you who have done mods to your safety lever, what do you do?

All that needs done is to replace the factory safety detent spring with the extra power spring from DSPerman.com
I have their springs in my 2 safety models and they are just the ticket.
Beside there is ZERO you can do to snug up the safety without detail stripping the gun anyway.

On both my Compacts I used the DSPerman springs and they worked wonders. Don't know if they apply to the full size or not.

Yes it's the same spring.
