Nitriding barrel

I think I know the answer to this but, can I have my barrel refinished in nitride without the finish changing the fit up of the barrel and slide?

Yes. Nitride doesn't change dimensions enough that you can even measure it on a +/-.0005" mic.

In other words - we're talking amounts so instantly small that it will never make a difference for a barrel.
