P10 trigger swap
« on: April 23, 2019, 10:00:04 PM »
So i did a search on the forum for a trigger swap and didn't seem to find anything, so here it goes. I am looking for a trigger replacement shoe do you guys have any experience that you could enlighten me on. Pros and cons of a certain brand? Flat face vs slight curve? Material variances Plastic vs metal ? I don't really care about adjustment for pretravel if it has it cool if not it wont be a deal breaker. I have the P10S is pinches my finger and I also purchased the P10C waiting to pick it up, I will be more than likely changing that one to match my S as well. Thanks in advance for any info you guys can offer up. My only experience with mew trigger shoes are the Cajun gunworks triggers I have for both my P01s and my SP01. I am kind of new to the striker fire pistols.

I replaced the trigger in my P10C with an HB Industries trigger.

As far as the P10s goes I wouldn't know. I haven't been lucky enough to come across one of those in the wild just yet.

HBI makes a nice trigger.

Here's how HBI installs their own trigger.

I have both the CGW and the HBI trigger.  They are both very good triggers.  Most likely, it is a matter of personal preference.  If you don't care about the pre-travel adjustment, then I suggest the HBI.  I like the flatter face of the HBI.

Awesome, thank you for the replies. I am going to give the HBI a shot and see how it goes. I like the idea of the flatter trigger. I didnt notice the cajun trigger has a slight curve until you mentioned that.

I have the HBi in my P10s. To be honest i'm not very impressed with it. It does correct the trigger pinch which is why I kept it in but I found that it makes the trigger heavier and a bit gritty/stagey.
