75 Shadow Target custom black - loose rear sight
« on: June 30, 2019, 12:47:51 AM »
I have one of the less seen 91716 75 Shadow Target custom guns.

In chasing the cause of poor accuracy I figured out quickly that the rear sight (Kensight) has 3-4mm's of finger pressure induced lateral movement. Yikes. The sight does not look staked and obviously there's no set screw.

What are my options for this particular sight? Recommendations?

Thanks

I had the same issue with my CZC Shadow T.  I took the sight off and hit about 4 times lightly with a center punch.  I filled the dovetail with red locktite and centered the sight in the slide.  I let it sit overnight.  I haven' t had any more problems.

I'm assuming that since CZC hasn't commented that Steel's advice is the best course of action.

I'll take out the sight, degrease, fill up the dovetail with red loctite, and center the sight. Any other suggestions?
