I bought a CGW single action safety to replace the stock safety on my polished stainless 75B, so I can use it cocked and locked and as a thumb rest for steel matches. The swap went smoothly and the safety works fine, but if I have the hammer cocked and my thumb resting on the top of the safety the hammer won't drop when the trigger is pulled. If I relieve the slightest amount of pressure from the top of the safety it will then drop. Then, subsequent shots from the trigger reset will fire properly, even if I'm resting heavily on the safety again. All of my other internals are CGW, including an adjustable sear. I've played with various settings for that, but I still can't stop the problem.
