How many 99041s were imported?
« on: June 23, 2019, 02:17:48 PM »
I picked one up from CGW. I had them do a Pro Package , 10X bushing and night sights. I really like the pistol but don't shoot it very often. I was wondering how many of these were imported?

Few enough that the prices seams to be increasing on them. I am unclear if anyone managed to deduce a clear total number that were imported.

I am also interested to hear the input of other forum members on the subject.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Yes, interesting question! It sounds like we might have got ours around the same time, I got my from CGW and had the same upgrades done except for the sights, I put a set of Dawson's on mine with a green fiber optic in front! Sounds like I have shot mine more than you possibly but BOTH of us are doing ourselves a disservice,I took mine to the range today and WOW,,, its a beauty! I just had an RMR installed on my 07 which also has been through CGWs with Pro Pack installed & as much as I love the new RMR and my 07 the darn P-01 shot as good & as smooth as my RD equipped 07! Get out & shoot yours, you will be glad you did! And as you stated It would be interesting to know the total number for 2018 and then how often do they make/import these guns! Here is a pic of my two CZ beauties!

They are fantastic shooter. I like mine but for some reason it does not make it to the range as often as others.

Is this the steel framed looking P01 pistol?

If so, I bought two of them.  Both had the worst triggers of any CZ I've ever bought.  Rough, gritty, stagey = in single action.

I modified one to SAO (following another thread here) and left the other one unfired in the box.

The one I modified was shot some  and it did shoot pretty good with the CGW bushing and nice trigger.  I gave that one to my youngest son and gave the NIB one to my oldest son (where it will most likely stay unfired).

I used to see them at gun shows and darned near bought another one after seeing it several times over the months.  But I haven't seen one in quite some time.

I like the design/set up but went with the P01 Omega.  Mostly due to the (slight) difference in the way the grip feels in my hand due to the grooves in the front/rear of the grip.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?
