Czechmate or have a 2011 Built

I have and I agree. However, I’m looking for a good minor load for my CM now. Too many years or major PF getting my hands hammered and now I find I much prefer minor shooting to be much easier on an aging body.

Then Sport Pistol powder and some Polymer-coated Lead bullets is what you need. Sport Pistol kinda maxes out just about Minor PF, and it has a low flash point.

I’m on my second 8# jug of SP powder and I agree that it’s a great powder, especially for my cast lead, powder coated pills.

Just picked up a Czechmate. Originally tried to order a STI DVC Open 9mm Major but STI told me they have ceased production and will not make the DVC line in 2020. They do have new models coming out.

I've got custom 1911s but had to have them built to get what I wanted. The Czechmate came ready to rock and I like the option of switching barrels between limited and major. T

At the range it's the equal or better than any of my 1911s.

Obviously, it's personal preference and needs/wants...

That may have been a stroke of luck. As I understand it,  quality control has gotten even worse at STI recently.
