part # for magazine springs
« on: April 04, 2019, 03:02:06 AM »
Anyone know what the part # CZ uses for the standard magazine springs for P07 and P10c
[15 rnd / 16 rnd]
Their web store is a bit cryptic as far as descriptions go.

Do they also have a +10% spring for these?

Thanks

Hiya CzechEm and thx for your thread. The cz-usa site is avail for your call 9a-4p and you can ask to be connected to parts dept, preventing any misunderstandings on what you want. And yes the web store is most cryptic,as a lot of web stores are. Be well.

I called them - Guy on the phone said they don't have the mag springs for sale separately. hmm

I counted 11 coils on my test mag but I will try these out

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I'll report back on the cz custom ones, hopefully they are good

I have used some wolff springs in the past for other guns and they work well,
They list CZ-75 magazine springs but I don't think those are the same size as on the P07/P10 magazines

Order came in, they do fit and are much better.  [From CZ Custom]

I will likely lob one of the coils off since the old ones were 10 coils and this replacement was 12.  11 coil should be just around +10% which is what I want.  Though if you are running base pad extensions they should work as is.

Mag spring on the right is the factory spring, on the left is the czcustom spring.

Extra power can be more/different than extra coils.

The diameter of the wire used to make the spring can be different.

The material the spring is made from can be different.

Before I'd cut coils I'd install it and load it up and see if it takes all the rounds and functions correctly.

Then remember that both ends of the spring are bend in a certain way (top to fit the small end of the magazine and hold the follower and bottom to fit the base plate and "hold onto" it.
