If something goes bump in the night and you are going to investigate it with a weapon in your hand... I think the light on the weapon gives you the very best opportunity to know what you are aiming at, and know for sure what or who is in the bullet?s path to make the best decision possible.  I want both of my hands on the weapon whenever possible.

SDP with TLR-1 for home and P-01 with TLR-1 for the vehicle.

For comparison, a TLR7 on a P01 (not my pic):

From this thread: https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=95820.0

TLR1 has 800 lumens and TLR7 has 500.

MrGunsNGear video posted earlier compares the light of both -- I view the TLR1 as best suited for outside/offensive use at greater distance (many folks mount them to carbines w/ the pressure switch option).
Personally, I might consider the TLR1 for a vehicle gun but not for a home self defense handgun -- I get good visibility to at least 75 yards w/ the TLR7.

Surefire XC2 if you must conceal your gun and need as compact as possible.  But believe the TLR7 to be a superior light in every other way... YMMV.

I have a question for you guys that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere. I have a P01 and when trying to mount the olight pl mini on it, with the 1913 key, it wont fit. The key is too wide for the rail on the gun. I had to file some off sides of the key to get it to fit.  Anyone else have this issue? It fit fine before filing on my P07 and many other 1913 railed guns.

I have an Olight PL II Valkyrie on my P-01. I had to use the Glock key. The 1913 key positioned the light too far back.

The Inforce ALPC Glock model looks so clean on a P01. Google CZ 75 Inforce apl and you’ll see they sit flush with the end of the barrel, nightstick tcm550 looks great on it too and the nightstick gives you more runtime than other lights that are 2-3 times as much money. At 550 lumens you get 2.5 hours of runtime. If you google the light you will see how it function. I would go that route or Inforce but the inforace is less lumens and less runtime.Nightstick is made by bay i they have been making lights for law enforcement for years.

They are worth checking out

I really like the PL-Mini Valkyrie model 1.  It's a perfect fit for the P-01, and the attachment mechanism Olight uses one of the best out there.

I?m liking my Olight mini valkyries.

I figured someone would say it, before I made it too far into this thread.

I have the Olight Valkyrie PL Mini on mine, when it guards the lamp (nightstand).

Tiny, bright enough for indoor use, easy buttons (on the replacement, the first one was stiff, they took care of it QUICK), AND never buy batteries just slap the magnetic charger on it and leave it where it lays knowing it is fully charged when you grab it.

Would I wanna carry it on duty? Eh... I can think of more robust options I'd go with.  Nightstand gun? Fits that bill perfect!

I'll try to get a pic up.  Might not, tho, I'm a little self conscious about my gun needing a cerakote (it has not led a sheltered life)

Yea, pretty sure I am using the Glock one also.
