CZC frame mount for TSO - torque specs?
« on: September 12, 2019, 10:50:43 PM »
I have a TSO and have bought the multi optic frame mount and longer screws from CZC to install on my pistol with the thumb rest.  I am then going to mount a Trijicon SRO on it.  I have questions.
What are the torque specs for installing the mount on the frame?
What are the torque specs for mounting the SRO?
Should I use Loc Tite anywhere?
How difficult is it to install the boss pins onto the frame mount for the optic?
Thanks,
Jeff

I replied to your post over at the Enos forum. But anyway, here’s my take.

I torque it down to 15 in lbs.

Don’t know about the SRO but I torque my RMR to about 20 in lbs.

Use blue loctite.

Pick the correct size boss from the Maggie that came with the CZ mount and use it. Very, very easy. Just be very careful not to drop them. Do it on top of a towel so it won’t run anywhere if you ever drop them.

Good luck.
