Both my DWs, the TCP and my Specialist Commander both shoot and function superbly. No issues putting lead on target to be honest with either gun. It?s the tightness of build that challenged me in disassembly and the 9mm magazine uniqueness that caused me initial frustrations. Those are over for the most part and well under the 700 rds.

I?d buy a DW again, if I can get permission from ?she who must be obeyed?

I took my valor to the range yesterday and put 200 more rounds through it. Didn't have a problem of any kind. I really enjoy this gun now, but there was a time at the beginning I was doubtful. I never thought this gun would have become one of my favorites, but it is, both in performance and beauty.

I shot my TCP at our local IDPA match. The gun performed superbly with all mags. I didn?t shoot well, but it was on me. Some stages I did well, others I just tanked it, but it wasn?t the gun?s fault- just me.

When I did my job, the gun was on target, cycled well, and worked well. Just need to shoot it more.

am loving this gun more and more

So I turned the "I think I need one", into actually getting one.  I will say that it is one intimidating looking 1911 in person. Its actually a first for me, in that I'm not changing a single thing on the gun.....it looks and feels even better than I was anticipating.......the stock photos don't do this beast justice by any means.  My only issue is..... I had shoulder surgery about three weeks ago and won't be able to shoot with my dominant hand for another 3-4 months   :-\

Congrats- I?m a huge fan after having my TCP for a while.  Think you have a forced opportunity to practice weak hand shooting.  :D

Shot my TCP again at a local match, had a hoot. Gun ran fine, on target if I did my job. Did have one magazine over insertion momentarily jamming the gun. Performed a quick corrective action and was back on target.

Decided to shoot this gun this season- looking forward to a good year with it.
