Took my new P-10S to two ranges today, one indoor, one outdoor.  Outdoor first for 30 rounds at various distances just to get the feel of the gun.  The grip length is perfect for me--just enough to get a pinky on the magazine base.  To be honest, I was able to shoot it as well as my P-10C when it had iron sights.  Really happy with it.

The indoor range brought out some eyesight problems for me.  The range is not very brightly lit and I had some problems at 20 yards and some real problems at 50, even two handed standing.  I just could not see the sights well enough to line them up against the distant black bullseye.  The gun was fine, shooter needs work.  Or a red dot.  Arriving Monday.

I ran another 64 rounds through mine this morning.  I’m still very happy with the feel and balance but need to work on getting the RMR sight picture a bit quicker.  That’s just a practice thing for me though and something I can work on at home.

I’ve got an RMR inbound and wondered about difficulty picking up the dot.  It must work well when used to it I’m guessing since they’ve become so popular.

It’s just a matter of practice for me.  I know that with a bit of effort, it will pop into view when I present and push out.  It’s already getting a lot better than when I first started.

They don’t co-witness sadly.  I was hoping that they would but the factory iron sight picture is just a hair below the RMR window.

I just learned that CZ will be offering kits that will include the mounting plate plus taller sights for about $40.

Thanks for the link.  I hope that the CZ plate fills the gap at the front of the RMR.  My only issue with the CZC plate is that it does not fill the gap or blend to the slide at all.  But, it’s available and the CZ plate is not, so it’s a winner to me.  If putting them out earlier than CZ came at the cost of the nice blending, then CZC made the right choice.  :)

Sounds like you’ve already secured one through czc, but just FYI for future...if you call CZ they will allow you to back order.  I did that for the plate and the next day they must have come in as mine has been shipped.

Just picked up today. Amazing trigger.  I love how it fits the hand and how one can get all fingers on the grip.

Can you tell me the exact height of your P-10 S? I'm considering this as a concealed carry pistol, and it's surprising CZ-USA didn't include that info on the product page. Your observation about the grip sounds encouraging, though.

I've found pre-production info indicating a height of about 4.5", but nothing definitive since commercial release. Apologies if this question has been asked and answered elsewhere in the forum.

Unfortunately I don’t have anything around that would measure it accurately.  I poked around online but like you couldn’t find a posting with height.
