Mec gar mags for the CZ-75 compact series

I have a pair of CZ 75 compacts (well, the limited imports that were basically SP-01 compacts from about 3-4 years ago, but same mags) and used to get the 14 round Mec-Gar mags for the CZ 75 compact/PCR/P-01 series but when I went to my midway USA order history they said it was discontinued by the mfger, and when I googled the part # EVERY ONE is out of stock of them.

did mec-gar make a new mag with a new part #?? I would hate if they stopped altogether as they were a GREAT discount over the $40 CZ branded mags

ahhh, so they moved to a 15 round magazine. The last time I bought them they were all 14s for compacts

I missed your info about 14 rounds 
BTW... because you already used Mec-Gar, do they have notches on both sides, so can be used with P-01 Omega? (I have reversed mag release button for lefties)

I've just compared this picture with new Mec-Gar on their website, notch on both goes through whole magazine, so I'm assuming all their CZ75 Compact magazines are compatible with P-01 Omega.

yeah, I was googling around for the mags, but I was just being cautious because back when I bought the guns there were only 14 round mags, and wanted to make sure the 15 round ones I was finding would work like normal. I like to get the MFGER code and plug it into gun.deals to find the best price (right now it's $21.02 at Lanbosarmory.com as the best deal)... I only have 3 of the mec-gar 14 rounders and 4 of the CZ mags (2 with each gun) and wanted to stock up while prices were good. I've been lazy on getting mags for these guns and need to grab some more (I'm a huge believer in having 10 rounds per gun)

FYI, there are several of the 14 round MEC-GAR magazines with the metal base plate available on gunbroker at the moment. Do a search for "mecgar cz 14" and you'll see them.

My Sphinx came with two 15 round mags. They run fine in my PCR but the PCR's 14 rounder is too short for the
Sphinx. At the range, I took along a magazine for my 75 B (which I regret selling) and it ran fine in both the PCR and the Sphinx. That's the long... and the short of it.

I contacted Mec-Gar directly about it, and they said that the 15 and 10 rounders are direct replacements for the 14 round flush fits they USED to sell. All it is, is they trimmed the follower a bit and added a baseplate and used the same mag body and it fits 15 rounds now
