TS standard, different frame
« on: November 08, 2019, 09:54:22 PM »
I just got TS Standard at my LGS.
My frame does not have any cuts at the from, it's solid like on TSO. Also barrel has coating.
What version did I get? I can't find it anywhere :)
Thanks

That is a standard TS.  There are no cuts in the frame at the front.  I have TSs with both silver and coated barrels.

Did anybody upgrade hammer with CGW race hammer, I'm wondering if it makes it even better.
Thanks.

I went ahead and got race hammer for TS. Trigger pull went up from 1.5lb to 2.5lb, but extremely crisp

I bought mine used.  The previous owner replaced the hammer/trigger, etc.

No idea what work was done or who did it.  Trigger pull is about 1&3/4 lbs.  One of those pistols I'm careful with when I take it to the range - careful to dry fire a few times first so my finger/brain realized there is not take up similar to my other CZ's.  If I don't dry fire first I usually end up with a round dropped about 4 to 6" low out of the group that goes while I think I'm taking up some slack.

On the CZ's with a firing pin block I can feel that firing pin block move up/stop just before the trigger bar starts to move the sear and I stop at that point (where the firing pin block it up/out of the way and the sear hasn't started moving yet.)  But on the TS, any rearward movement past that tiny little stop results in a bang as there is no firing pin block and the trigger/sear engagement is set up the way it is.

Oh, picture of the hammer on my TS.  The thing is a tad tight when the picture was taken.  If the slide was eased forward it would stop just before lock up.  No issue when the slide moved forward at speed from normal shooting or when using the slide release to chamber a round.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Very cool.
My TS standard has 1.5lb  trigger out of the box, so I put factory one back :)
