Omega decocker question
« on: January 17, 2020, 12:49:53 PM »
Hey guys, new to forum, recently purchased used P01 omega with safety installed, decocker was missing so I ordered one from cz- USA, after installing when decocker is depressed hammer immediately drops, noticed from videos & friends standard P01, hammer doesn't drop until decocker is released,  when hammer drops on omega it feels as if though something is kicking back on decocker lever, is this normal or maybe wrong decocker assembly? Any help would be appreciated.

When I de-cock my P01 Omega it does feel like the lever kicks back pretty hard for sure.

Couple videos that may help;

Yea I've watched all the videos, cz parts page states that assembly will only fit 2016 & older, cz rep said it should read 2016 & newer, my gun is a 2019 model, just wondered if I got right decocker or not, it works, drops to half cock but just doesn't feel right, maybe it's just the way the omega system is, don't know, first cz for me, thanks for links.

Agree with you on how it's snaps up.  New to cz as well..  I asked the question before just not as succinctly.  Thanks for the clarification.
