A longtime fan of CZ firearms and their various Turkish clones, I have a long list of the former and two of the clones. My clones are the Sarsilmaz KAMA bought used at my favorite gun store in San Antonio, Texas and a Canik55 C-100 imported by Tristar which I bought at Academy Sports, also in San Antonio, Texas for the princely sum of $329.
The Sarsilmaz was bought at Academy by the previous owner only three months before I bought it for $250. I don't know why the individual sold it or traded it in, but I do know that at a cost to me of $250, he took a beating and I got a bargain. The gun performs flawlessly and I would buy another if I could find one.
My other Turkish made CZ clone is my Canik55 C-100. This is an awesome firearm as well and is a CZ75 Compact clone. It performs better than many of my 'brand name' pistols.
I have heard that the Turkish made firearms I have were built in a NATO certified facility. Not sure if this is so but the guns fit and finish is well above par.
