New one-off custom hand guard. (Crude Beginnings)

This is what happens when you have a Gemtech MK9K suppressor (7.5" with 2" outside diameter), Micro-K Barrel (5.3") and want to make a custom hand guard to tuck it.

Why?

Because why not?

This was one of the first models I sketched out when I started this idea. Thrown together in about 20 minutes. Keep in mind this picture is missing a ton of details so far. If the nothing but 45 degree edges didn't clue you in I don't know what will.  ;D Not ready to share more detailed info yet, outside I go to the fabrication shop later this week.  :-X

This "hand guard" will come in at 11.50" in total length.

But can you guess how its all going to connect? How did I tuck a 2" OD suppressor? Not to hard to figure out!

What is this weird thing?

The host weapon in question...

And then a little more shape starts to take form.

Boy still looks like a blocky high school project, but wait... we're not done yet...
