Cajun Gun Works 75700 question
« on: February 07, 2020, 02:48:08 PM »
I've got a call into CGW, but I'd like to poll the forum here concerning upgrade kit 75700. Just one question. What was the SA pull with the CGW kit installed? I have a kit on order, should get it tomorrow. This is a carry gun, so I'd like to keep the SA pull weight at 3 to 3.5 lbs. I figure if their kit comes in below that, I can adjust the pull weight by keeping one or more of the original springs. Thanks

No idea. But, I'm thinking along the same lines. I like the SA pull on my P01. Wouldn't mind reducing the DA a bit. So, how do you do that? I think it was @jurek that suggested replacing only the hammer spring to reduce the DA, leave the SA alone. But can confirm neither the effect, or whether it was really jurek (i'll search) that suggested it. .... So, yeah, no help.  8)

And yep, here it is.
KennyE, congtrats ! That's one of the best purchases you could do  8)
I'm glad you  like the trigger (most of P-01 users are looking for replacement parts right away).
Do your 150 rounds, however I'd suggest 300 - 400 rounds before you decide to do anything  with the pistol.

To lighten DA and keep SA intact you go with lighter hammer spring for sure. As addition I'll go with CGW "Reduced Power Trigger Return Spring" as well.
If you go with spring lighter that #15 it will require "extended firing pin", so it's better to go directly with CGW "54420 Ultra-Lite Kit"

I talked with CGW, they said S.A. pull should come in around 3.5 to 4.0. I'll post results later this week end.
