Urban Grey finish wear

I'm really close to purchasing a Shadow 2. $40 more for the Black/Blue which I like best. Or the Urban Grey, which my son likes the best. He'll also be shooting it some and it will eventually be his.

I've seen some pics of the finish wear on the Urban Grey models that wore pretty quickly. Others seemed ok, but still had more visible wear than the black models. It will be a competition pistol so I don't know that it really matters one way or the other. Anyone with experience with the finish wear on the Shadow 2's.

Get the black model. Somehow, the polycoat on the black ones are better compared to the urban gray. I have a black one and the wear is not as accelerated compared to my friend’s urban gray which we bought within a month of each other.

I use mine in USPSA and dry fire at least 3-4 days a week and the only visible wears are the holster wear from drawing during my dry fire and live fire practices.
