RRK issues with DA
« on: January 06, 2020, 09:41:12 PM »
I have a p01 decocker with a defensive package and I just added a RRK, here is were the problem starts. I get a nice SA , and get a DA decocked hammer fall  ,but no full double action. On a full DA the trigger goes back with no movement of the hammer. I have installed Reach kit before in safety models , but never had this issue. Any ideas.

If I am reading you correctly it sounds like your DA is not resetting. If so this may require minor fitting to the disconnector. This can happen in some cases due to factory variance in different CZ pistols. While not real common from what I have seen, it can happen from time to time.

If you have a trigger with a pre-travel adjustment set screw located in the top of the trigger adjusted out too far this could also cause your issue.

I suggest calling CGW directly. They can help confirm your issue and walk you through the necessary fix. Please let us know what you find out, we all learn from this stuff.

I have a very similar problem with my P-01 after installing the CGW Old Style trigger (not resetting with hammer down). I called and talked with a gunsmith there and they have sent me a different trigger and asked that I send the faulty one back to them. Apparently some were not machined sufficiently in the area of the reset screw. I hope changing the trigger is all I need to do.

It was me , I used the long set screw in the top hole and short in bottom one. In combo with the trigger bar lifter spring needing adjustment. Works now
