I have an 85 Compact with 10 round mags in 40.SW.
180 grain Hydroshoks get jammed in both mags. Their uber-wide hollow jackets get caught in the mag catch holes so from round #6 and on, it's very difficult to load and will sometimes not feed the ammo into the gun. The holes are sharp edged and I find little copper shavings at the edges, which means the profile of the bullet is hitting the corner of the mag. I'm going to try and relieve the inside edge of the mag catch holes to alleviate this.
Has anyone else had this issue?
