I've purchased a few G10 grips from Hogue, Lok Grips, Cool Hand Luke. I bought a few grips for CZ Compacts to use with a pistol I purchased and then sent in to CZ Custom to have worked on. When I received the grips from Lok Grips I opened the package to look at the grips, tried them on another CZ Compact just to see how they looked and put them back in the package. A few months later I received my Compact which was worked on and wanted to try the grips. Over time the black G10 Lok Grips started to turn grey sitting in the package. Reading multiple forums most recommendations say to use mineral oil or gun oil on the grips to return faded black G10 grips back to the original color. I had not used these grips so did not need to clean them. I just rubbed some Lucas Gun Oil on them, rubbed it in with a cleaning brush and the grips returned to the original black color.
These Lok Slim Bogies have a little oil still in the valleys from when I wiped them down. Did not get a picture of them when they had turned grey.
Here's a video from Lok Grips about their recommendations on cleaning and maintaining G10 grips.
