Though i do not own a Phantom, i do not believe that the CZ Phantom has a Magazine Break. So the mags should be drop free. Without having examined one my self i assume that the design is closer to the CZ P series.

Lets see if any Phantom owners can confirm this or set me straight on the matter.

I have 4 Mec Gar 17 round mags and 6 OEM SP-01 18 round mags. All 10 drop free in my Phantom.

I purchased two new Phantoms in the past month. All of my mags (CZ and Mec-Gar) drop free.

Excellent.  Thanks guys.  I've got a Phantom arriving tomorrow or the next day, but I've got a cart full of sights from CZ Custom now and wanted to know if I should add a flat magazine brake.  From the schematic, it looks like it doesn't even have a magazine brake at all.

It was posted up on the forums at some point. If you right click it and hit View Image then right click and Save Image As i think you can grab it.

There is a strip of metal at the back of the magazine well but it does not act as a brake.
